Forecast for today...A miserable cold, wet day. Perfect weather for working. Looks like the rest of the week is going to be the same, wet and/or windy. We would consider going for a holiday in Spain, but the forecast for there is equally bad, although my parents reassure me that despite the thunderstorms which are forecast, it hasn’t actually rained there in weeks.

Forecast for today...Even windier today. We sat in the summer room for a while, but it sounded like the roof was going to be blown off, and this wasn’t conducive to reading or relaxing.

Too windy to do archery, so we worked. Sigh.

Forecast for today...Typically for a bank holiday, it’s foul weather. Rain, gales, cold, damp. Brrrrr.

We worked on the LMSC newsletter and other committee stuff and are going out to open mic night at Bridges tonight, so at least something to look forward to.

Forecast for today...Geoff writes: another wet and windy day. Our only consolation is that it’s also wet and windy in France and Catalunya! But we’re quite optimistic for the weekend, and the Met Office has said that this summer should be much better than the last two – warmer and drier. Still, given that they often have difficulty forecasting the weather 24 hours in advance, I’m not sure how much credence we should give this.

On the plus side, we got on with decorating, and we spent a lot of time working on Long Mynd club stuff. At least in the first few months, this is going to take up a lot of our time – hopefully, it will be productive and the club will end up stronger and more effective, providing more services for the members. Fortunately, we have a great group of people on the committee, and it should be a lot of fun working with them.

I’m writing this post, rather than Judith, because she is currently recording another podcast, on SIV courses – this will be a compilation from the people we went with on the SIV course at few weeks ago. Not sure when it will be available, but should be within an few weeks, once she has recorded everyone. It shoud be interesting, and should help people decide if an SIV course is worthwhile for them to do, or not.

Forecast for today...Happy Birthday, Michaela!

Rubbish forecast and it was raining from the moment we woke up. Our DIY efforts are going well…

At some point it was actually a bit brighter, but there were big showers and hail at about half hour intervals all day, so it didn’t even seem worth going to do archery. Off out tonight to celebrate Michaela’s birthday.

Perfect DIY day, windy with occasional showers. We now have a sparkly new white bathroom and are ready to paint another room when bad weather permits.

International forecasters of the world unite! They’re all as bad as each other. Today should have been S or SSW, sunny and not too windy to fly. In the event, it was strong, SW and completely overcast all day.

We didn’t bother, so did some work instead. Now it looks like we are in for a few days of bad weather, so no flying for a while.
