Martin ground handling at the Mynd.I was in hospital for my pre-op until the afternoon, so Geoff went to hang glide at the Long Mynd. It was very strong so he waited for the wind to drop. It wasn’t easy to get away and no one did.

I arrived at the site about 3.30pm and by 4pm the wind had dropped and paragliders started flying. I had a 20 minute boat about with the odd thermal thrown in. It switched off pretty quickly once it started dropping.

In the evening we went to the club AGM. I won Best Female Pilot for last year.
