02 Jul 2008 | : Boring stuff

Another pants day, weather wise. Forecast looking bad for the next few days with an outside chance of flying on Friday before the deluge at the weekend. I met up with Kai tonight to record a podcast on XC flying. I’ve never done it before, so will see how it turns out.

Corndon seen from Roundton hill fort.Howling today, again. What’s with the wind this summer?

We went for a walk up Roundton hill fort, which is in a nature reserve near Church Stoke. It’s stunning up there, with fantastic views of the Mynd, Sarn, Corndon, Long Mountain, etc. Despite the wind it was hot and although we were going to read our books, we soon fell asleep in the sunshine. Geoff burned his neck and I got bitten, but it was worth it. Home via tea and far too much cake at Wayne’s.
